M1910 Mexican Mauser rifle

A rare unusual Mauser version, it is a cross between the standard M95 and M98 versions. Very few survived. This rifle has about 80% bluing, turned brown. Dark bore with good rifling. Serial numbers do not match. Wood is good to very good, with wood loss behind the tang and in front of the trigger guard. Handguard is cracked behind the rear sight. An M98-type short rifle. The receiver is marked 'Fabrica de Armas Oviedo' and with the Royal Crest of Spain. 90% brownish blueing. Minor pitting at a few places. Shiny bore with strong rifling. Wood is in refinished excellent condition with very few small dings, no cracks, nice woodgrain. Bolt's serial # does not match. Comes with a cleaning rod and a Spanish bayonet adapter. Serial numbers do not match. Beautiful stock in excellent condition. Tiny crack behind the tang and in the handguard by the receiver, a small arsenal repair in the handguard by the band. Bolt serial does not match, but stock does. Stock is in well used, good condition, solid, no cracks. Handguard has a hairline crack. Partial crest of King Carol remains on the receiver. M1924 Yugoslavian Mauser

Receiver has a sharp crest of the "Kingdom of Yugoslavia" and marked in Cyryllic: "Model 1924", "Kralevina Jugoslavija" (= Kingdom of Yugoslavia) and "Vojnotek Zavod - Kragujevac" (= Military Factory, Kragujevac). The finish is 70% blue, thinning and turning brown. Sharp deep rifling with crud in the grooves. Serial numbers match, except bolt. Stock is in very good+ condition with few small dings. The forend has a small hole poked into the cleaning rod slot. Handguard is cracked behind the rear sight. Most parts are stamped with a "3", cyrillic 'Z' inspection mark. 252330 See PICTURES

Possibly originally made by FN, Herstal, Belgium for Yugoslavia. Receiver has a sharp crest of Tito's Communist Yugoslavia, "Preduzece 44" (Factory #44, Kragujevac). The finish is 50% grayish thinning blue, some parts have more blue, most likely rplacements. Sharp mirror bright bore. Serial numbers do not match. Stock is in very good+ condition with few small dings, with abrasions wear in the forend. Handguard has a small arsenal repair by the band. 6475 See PICTURES

Strong Chilean crest on receiver. Sharp legend: "MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895" and "Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabricken, Berlin". The receiver bridge is marked "7.62 N" for 7.62 NATO. Chilean crest is also on the Butt. Very little blueing left. Nice shiny bore with strong rifling. Serial numbers do not match. Wood is in good condition, cracked/repaired at the buttplate. Arsenal converted from 7mm Mauser to 7.62mm NATO in 1961. Reportedly a very accurate shooter. Antique, no FFL needed to purchase. 2710 See PICTURES

M1912/61 Chilean Mauser short rifle

Made in Austria with the Chilean crest on the receiver. Legend: "Waffenfabrik Steyr, Austria" and "Modelo 1912". This is a rare 43.5" short rifle, not a more common 41" long carbine. 40% thinning blueing left. Mirror bright bore. Serial numbers do not match. Wood is in good condition, cracked behind the triggerguard. Arsenal converted from 7mm Mauser to 7.62mm NATO in 1961. Shallow grooves due to the conversion, and looks unfired since the conversion. One of the best qualty Mausers ever made. See PICTURES

Receiver legend: 'TC ASFA ANKARA K-KALE' with Crescent Moon crest, 1945 Ankara Arsenal rebuilt. Blue 75%, Shiny bore with strong rifling, dark in the groves. Non-matching serial numbers, as usual with Turk Mausers. Wood excellent w/ very few bumps, no cracks. Nicely done arsenal repair at the butt, short crack in the forend. Woodgrain is very pretty. A good quality German made rifle in much better than average condition. An uncommon variation. Turkish converted German Kar.98 rifles have been marketed under various model numbers. A very early magazine rifle. Originally a single shot bolt action rifle, updated with a 3-round Vitali magazine in 1888. Metal surface is brown patina. Bolt with fine surface pitting. Bore is dark with strong sharp rifling. Stock was sporterized, duffle-cut under the band. Remaining wood is good with normal dings, cracked in front of the magazine, a small crack by the buttplate. Two stock markings, one with the large W for Queen Wilhelmina(?). The action needs some repair. The receiver sits higher than normal and the bolt, which is sticky, does not engage. A tube magazine bolt action rifle. Metal surface is brown patina. Bolt is missing the firing pin, spring and bolt shroud. Bore has strong sharp rifling, groves are dark, with crud. Stock was sporterized and mag tube loose parts are missing. Remaining wood is good, solid with normal dings, no cracks. Buttplate, rear sight ladder missing, cartridge lifting and trigger mechanism, is complete. The top of the barrel is inletted for alternate front sights. A great project gun. Conversion Percussion Halfstock Musket

A very old, most likely US made flintlock, which was converted to percussion musket in the mid 1800's. 36" barrel, 52" overall. A brown patina finish with pitting by the hammer and at a small area on the barrel. Looks good for it's age. Mechanically functional, the trigger/hammer action works fine. The sideplate and triggerguard has engraving. The stock is in poor condition with missing areas. Apparently never had a buttplate. Needs a nipple. A good project gun requiring woodwork.
